This is a minor release with some critical bugs fixed and MXF Metadata edit initial work
Features:
1) MXF Metadata editor (color range and color characteristics)
2) Added Linux Installer
Bugs Fixed:
1) Fixed crash when patching from ProRes 422 to ProRes 444
2) Fixed support of mxf files with size > 4GB
3) Fixed CLI JSON as a string input
AMAZING! Thank you so much for your work!!!
Thank you 1000x , only one issue, it doesnt run on CENTOS 7 , which all the flame people are forced to use (7.6 is the latest we can do, but I tried it on 7.8 as well) , problem is our GCLIB version is too old, could you maybe re-compile using a older version, that would be amazing!!
./AMCDXVideoPatcher
./AMCDXVideoPatcher: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.22′ not found (required by ./AMCDXVideoPatcher)
./AMCDXVideoPatcher: /lib64/libQt5Core.so.5: version `Qt_5.12′ not found (required by ./AMCDXVideoPatcher)
seems like latest GLIBCXX we have is 3.4.19
hi Finn,
I will build new version later this week. I also going to create for CLI separate lightweight version without qt dependencies

I do have local build but to be fair I`m quite busy to add everything planned. I will try to share link though to the current build I have

ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1108:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
Wow, fantastic. Congrats on this.
Here’s a question: Right now it can only open ProRes encoded files. However, for metadata in the file header (to i.e. read out crop infor, nclc tags and such) – you don’t actually need any image. Couldn’t the metadata editor be codec independent, so yu could also alter h264, DNx – possibly even ProRes RAW files?
Best,
Mazze
Actually, ignore my comment above.
I just realized it already works exactly the way as outlined above. Not sure what went wrong on my intial test.
Thanks for all the hard work you’ve put into it!
Cheers,
Mazze

alsa used for audio rendering, obviously its not needed for cli version will remove it one day
Thank You!
Crazy request…Can you add 59.97fps as an option for framerates?
My camera (z-cam e2) records the wrong metadata for certain framerates (59.94 instead of 59.97) and audio goes out of sync.
If this worked, it would easily cut my workflow in HALF.
Grateful for your excellent tool 😊

Hi Alex, Hope you’re doing well, Thanks for sharing the fantastic tool..
Could you please confirm, changing the metadata using AMCDX will not affect any media quality?
yes you are right it changes only metadata
I just want share some images regarding metadata changes clarification. How to send?
