I have downloaded 0.5 and it crashes each time I try to run it.
Mac Pro 5,1
Dual 3.4GHz CPUs
OSX 10.13.6
96 GB ram
Nvidia GTX 1080ti
can you try v0.5.1
hi Jack,
I wonder if your CPU supports AVX2 instruction Set?
I googled and seems you have “Intel Xeon X5690”
and it doesn’t support AVX2 so crash here is desirable behavior.
I have plans to add older CPUs support

Hello Alex,
I just installed the application, AMCDX Video Patcher.
Thanks a lot for the build of this useful and promise app.
I would like to change the Transfer Function from Unspecified, (1-2-1) to (1-1-1). Which one of the transfer functions appearing in the contextual menu tab correspond to tag (1-1-1)?
I cna change this in Davinci Resolve buy using Rec.709-A. Equal tag (1-1-1). Which I use it for web delivery with application supporting color management. This avoids the gamma shift in QuickTime video files.
In would be helpful if in a future update to the application the user could change the tag of a video source to a different destination. Example, from sRGB 2.2 1-13-1) to Rec.709 tag (1-1-1). or from Rec.709 2.4, tag (1-2-1) to (1-1-1) using this specific type of nomenclature.

I guess by 1-1-1 you mean
Color Primaries – Transfer function – Color Matrix
in that case, you can check values here:
http://mogurenko.com/2020/09/11/amcdx-video-patcher-cli/#qtff_transfer
in particular case 1-1-1 its
ITU-R BT.709 – ITU-R BT.709 – ITU-R BT.709
Alex, thanks a lot for the helpful response.
Hi Alex,
I would like to report that in the current version at the moment of this writing, V.067, the Metadata Editor is unable to open video files formatted in .mp4
hi Willian,
if you can share any problem file I can check. might be a regression as I didnt test mp4 for a while
